The role of kit sec is really exciting as you get to design and coordinate the uniform and merchandise of the whole of Leeds Celtics! 

You get to have full control to organise the bows, stash, membership tops and you get to decide what the secret membership gift can be. You also are in charge of the purchasing of the uniforms brand new and second hand!

It is a very full-on role, which requires a lot of time consistently throughout the year. It is also suggested that the Kit Secretary has access to a large front room / bedroom and to live with very forgiving house mates as your house will be full of cardboard boxes and woken up by constant deliveries!! The opportunity to be Kit Secretary is really rewarding when you get to see everyone perform in the designs you created, making it all worth it. 

The kind of person that should go for this role is someone who is organised and good at managing deadline (as the uniform/ manufacturing times are very tight). They should also be good with numbers and spreadsheets as Excel will become your new best friend! It is a creative role as you have your input and say into the designs and so it would be really beneficial to have experience in any art, design, fashion or business students. This is not a necessity though as, as you will have lots of help from the companies you work for.
