Hi, my name is Hemisha and I am currently a second-year medical student! Throughout my role as a pre-clinical representative this year, I have developed a keen interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (Obs and Gynae), and I am eager to further develop this as the Vice President for LogSoc. I currently have the responsibility of relaying key information about upcoming events with first-year and second-year medical students; this is something that I find very fulfilling as I am able to see the curiosity of medical students increase in Obs and Gynae first-hand by being their initial point of contact. My involvement with the committee has provided me with hands-on experiences through various talks and clinical skills sessions, which have significantly fuelled my curiosity and interest in the field. I am excited to engage more students about Obs and Gynae next year by taking on a more active role within the society and coordinating events in the upcoming year. After a year with the committee, I am now considering this as a potential career pathway and I really hope that I can replicate this experience for many other students as Vice President for LogSoc.
