Hey friends, Trofim here — devoted member of SlavSoc, lover of culture, and occasional chaos coordinator when things start spiraling (in the fun way). I’m running for Secretary of SlavSoc because I believe every great society needs someone in the background keeping the chaos organized — and I’m more than ready to be that person. From scheduling meetings (without clashing with every deadline week) to keeping track of what was said, planned, or “just an idea for now,” I’ll make sure nothing gets lost in translation. Agendas, minutes, and updates might not be glamorous, but they’re the glue that holds everything together — and I take that seriously (even if I like to throw in the occasional meme in the group chat).

You deserve a committee that communicates clearly and makes it easy to get involved. Whether it’s managing the society’s email, coordinating with other societies, or responding to random but important questions (like “where’s the event again?”), I’ll be on top of it. I know how frustrating it is to be confused about what's going on — so I’ll make sure our info is easy to find, our plans are transparent, and your ideas are actually heard and followed up on.

At the end of the day, SlavSoc is our shared space — it’s cultural, it’s fun, it’s chaotic in the best way — and I want to support that from behind the scenes. I’ll work closely with the rest of the committee to help events run smoothly, keep everything coordinated, and make sure we’re building something meaningful together.
