Happy Monday, I am currently writing this on my sofa greatly suffering from PWWTD (post warm weather training depression) so I am getting mentally prepared for next year already.
To prove I am a worthy candidate, I would like to showcase my extensive list of skills.
In being a social sec, I have shown NOT ONLY my organisational skills (as well as my disturbing appetite for fun and silly behaviour) but also my joy in crafting a great time for all of you lot.
I have exhibited my bull riding skills (or lack thereof), water park and punching machine skills so it’s clear I thrive when confronted with international activities and can teach you all how to reach this same full potential.
I am also exceptionally gifted when it comes to befriending OAPs so can likely swing us some pretty sweet hotel deals (most likely not).
So in the name of aging and maturing, and moving on from socials, I’d like to provide a full blown holiday for you! (and anything else my darling club may require of me)

Hi guys! For those of you that don’t know me as I am studying abroad, my name is Connie and I am running for Events Sec this year. I think I would be great for this role as I have great planning and organisational skills when it comes to travelling, as I do it all the time! Over the past few years, I have travelled both solo and in groups, organising many trips by myself, just because it’s something I love to do.
As Event Sec, I would research a number of possible destinations for the warm weather training, give everyone an overview of each one and allow everybody to vote on their favourite. It would be great to experience a new country and for everyone to have a say in the destination.
I would also like to organise events throughout the year, such as fundraising events for local charities (a quiz night or local fun run) which I feel would be great for the club and bring everyone together.
The athletics club has been a huge part of my university experience, allowing me to meet so many of my close friends and make so many memories. I would love the chance to give back to the club that has made given me so much.
I look forward to seeing everyone and meeting all the new people in the club!

Hi i'm Lama! Being apart of LUUAC has been a highlight of my first year, and I would love to be given the opportunity to contribute and give the people what they long for all year round, a break from cold, gloomy England. I LOVE traveling and just so happen to be pretty good at planning and organizing, hence why I thought I would be a good fit for this role. Portugal seems to be a fan favorite, but I would love to widen our horizions and discover another side of the Atlantic Ocean, or a totally different ocean altogether!
