Hi guys! My name is Iqra and I’d like to go for the role of PALS EDI officer as it would allow me to practice skills of organisation and management whilst also pursuing an interest in medical education. I have previous experience of being on the executive committee of other societies such as psyched where I’ve liaised with speakers and other committee members to organise events. I believe this role will allow me to develop those skills further as well as gaining academic benefit by being part of this society. I believe in equal access to education and this is something that I believe PALS does an exceptional job at

Throughout this year, PALS has benefited me in various ways in regards to academic support. The PALS sessions have aided me in studying and I would like to give back to both the society and other students.

Overall, I think I have the skills and motivation to be the PALS EDI officer. I hope to be able to join the team and support PALS in their goals for the next year.
