Hi everyone! I’m Francesco and I am running for Careers Coordinator on the MSRC Committee!! I know what you’re thinking, why should I vote for Francesco… let me tell you why! As a LinkedIn fiend, reaching the iconic 500+ LinkedIn connections, I am someone who loves to network. Connections such as Ali Abdaal, Vaccinations Coordinator at the White House, scientists to Nobel Prize Laureates, surgeons, innovators, and many more who would undoubtedly come in very handy in my role as Careers Coordinator! I’d be sure to organise lots of in-person and online networking events, and invite speakers to inform and inspire everyone on the breadth of career opportunities beyond Med School. I would also look to make the most of prominent Leeds Alumni, including editor in chief of the BMJ and Wales’ Chief Medical Officer!
