Hello Lads,

Hope you have rested well before the big finale.

With this being a new role, I have some plans I would like to introduce whilst building on the good work previously done by Henry and Rhodesy. There is lots of potential for improvement and I think the introduction of more structured sessions this year has benefitted all those involved.

I have a strong coaching and playing background which will allow me to plan sessions targeting the improvement of each individual rather than just netting. Tailoring training to what people want to improve is key to put the club in the best place possible come summer BUCS games. It is a very long winter period of training where massive improvements can be made so I want to ensure we make the most of this period of time.

More specifics to come from me on the day but it would be an honour to represent the best society in Leeds on the committee whilst trying to improve the standard of cricket which is essential for the longevity and success of the club.

Having several contacts and direct lines to Headingley and Weetwood, I feel that I would be able to coordinate training times very well along with organising training structures and setups. I will use my experience of high level training in order to maintain good standards throughout the winter and into the season for players to gain the most from their off season.
