About me:
- I’m obsessed with music. OBSESSED. My taste ranges from heavy metal rock to girly pop bops, so I’m pretty open minded when it comes to all things music.
- Currently studying journalism and having fun with LSTV, I find myself very confident with talking to people, editing, and being in front of a camera as well as using one.
- Though I may not be a musician myself, you bet I’m going out with one 😉

Why me?:
- I am the current Creator of Beat the Drum Magazine where we promote underrated music artists which has allowed me to make loads of networks with artists already, particularly amongst the Leeds music scene, plus expressing this on radio shows like ChapelFM.
- I hope to utilise this advantage for LSTV and help publicise artists like these just as much as we do for the bigger artists we interview etc. as I think giving those who are upcoming a chance to be hyped is just as important.
- Likewise, I want to encourage any LSTV member a chance to take part in any music events we wiggle ourselves into, whether that’s interviewing, filming, reviewing... so gathering passes for all types of music genres is something I will prioritise.
- I’d love to create more student-based content like asking around what Leeds’ students are listening to now, favourite karaoke songs, Spotify Wrapped questions - (great for a Tiktok lol)
- Do some vids on behind the scenes of gigs, festivals, touring round Leeds’ music shops, and more...

HIIII I am Anoushka Rao i am heading into my final year of film photography and media.I LOVEE everything music you can always catch me at some concert belting my heart out ( i promise i am not a crazy fangirl....all the time).
