There are two main responsibilities for VP, kit and tour. Kit needs to be sorted out with the supplier and ordered in time for BUCS, so usually by the end of the second week in October at the latest! This means you need to be on it with getting orders from all the new freshers, collecting money and getting it paid into the Union accounts. We have also introduced casual/Dirty Leeds kit in the past couple of years and it’s your responsibility to get these designed and ordered for all the members. Tour is the big one, you need to have the dates booked in with ILoveTour by mid-august to get your preferred week. Tour hype is a must, as well as posting in all of the squad pages to get sign ups high! For all your hard work, you get Tour for free! You also need to support President in meetings with Edge staff and Union training sessions and other committee positions in all areas as best you can, particularly overseeing the social secretaries and assisting in purchasing water polo bags/balls etc.
