The development captain’s role is very similar to the performance captains (see above), with responsibilities for entries to galas such as the NUDL and Quest for the Crest coming down to the Competition and Development Captains. Competition and Development are by far our largest squads and so inclusion is key, making everyone feel welcome in the club and encouraging participation across the squad!

Must also ensure there is attendance at every training session according to policy at the edge to avoid these sessions being taken away. Any training session not covered by the coach must be sorted by the relevant captain. Captains must also be present at all time trials and GIAG sessions in order to help organise the event as well as to welcome and encourage new members.
