The choir musical director role involves:
The Choir Musical Director is ultimately responsible for musical decisions regarding the choir
To oversee and lead musical rehearsals for the choir
To lead the choir’s performances
The musical director should appoint a Choir Accompanist, responsible for musical accompaniment of the choir at both rehearsals and performances and liaising with the Choir Musical Director and Managers to organise music/repertoire
To liaise with the Choir Accompanist and Managers to organise music/repertoire
