I’m excited to be running for Treasurer of the Sustainability Society. I’m passionate about promoting sustainable living and environmental awareness, and I believe strong financial stewardship is essential to making a lasting impact.

I bring both a love for sustainability and a detail-oriented approach to managing resources. As Treasurer, I will ensure that our funds are used effectively to support impactful projects, events, and initiatives that align with our mission. I’ll also promote transparency, keep clear records, and work closely with other officers to plan a responsible, realistic budget that helps our society thrive.

I believe sustainability isn’t just about ideas—it’s about action. And with well-managed finances, we can turn our ideas into real change. I’d be honored to support that change as your Treasurer.

Hi I’m Katie!! I’m a third year sustainability and environmental management student and after spending the past year abroad in Amsterdam, I’d love to return as Treasurer of SusSoc!!

I’m passionate about both sustainability and economics. With experience from my time in the society before I left, plus my upcoming audit placement this summer, I feel confident in my ability to manage the society’s finances effectively. I’m organised, dedicated and excited to learn even more while supporting the society through fun (and maybe some educational) events.

I believe that being part of this society is so important to do something active for the environment and make a difference!! I would love to bring some of my new experience and knowledge back from Amsterdam into Leeds and return to a society I care about so much!!
