My first encounter of MUN was of a conference from afar that was inaccessible to me.
Finally experiencing the merit of MUN at University set me on my mission, removing barriers to diplomacy and securing positive first encounters for everyone.

A vice presidency under my leadership will see our society transformed into a diverse community with record membership, an unmatched social and academic experience that nurtures high-quality diplomacy and reflects the true energy and wishes of the LeedsMUN community.

The solutions contained in my poster have been shaped entirely by listening to members concerns, to then directly address them. This commitment to authentic consultation when building policy will guide every step of my vice presidency.

I truly believe LeedsMUN to be an incredibly important society. It is unmatched in the commitment and passion of its members, and crucial in shaping students primary engagements with pressing global issues. My campaign is grounded in recognising, reflecting and elevating that significance, because LeedsMUN deserves the best. Vote Ivy.

Hi all- for those that don't know me, I'm Sophie, and I
would be honoured to serve as your Vice President
next year.
I joined LeedsMUN in October 2025, and since then, I've had the privilege of attending both MANMUN and LIMUN, as well as participating in weekly sessions. As a chemistry student, I love the inclusive nature of MUN- its truly interdisciplinary, and provides a judgement-free zone to explore debate,
politics, and diplomacy. I've personally felt my confidence increase week by week, conference by conference, and I know many of you feel the same. It's important to me that we maintain this atmosphere of growth and intellectual curiosity, and I will fight for this society like I fight for a more controversial nation - those that know, know - whether that's through engaging with LUU, or providing you with the means to grow your skills, and be the best delegate you can.
