Hello my name is Shaun Dwyer and I am running for Social Media Secretary. I believe I am best equipped to be the societies social media secretary next year for a plethora of reasons. I am proficient with a wide range of editing softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Premiere Pro which I intend to utilise to create new exciting promotional graphics and videos for the society. Alongside these editing skills I have demonstrated a high degree of organisation when creating content for either personal social media pages or larger companies. For example, during my work experience I helped one of top PR firms in the UK rebrand their social media to output new creative ideas and upload content timely to match the predetermined schedule. Lastly, I have spoken to the current social media secretary in order to get a rundown of how the role operates and after learning this I believe I am the perfect candidate for the role because I am proficient in what skills are required and can therefore provide these to elevate the societies social media presence.
