I’m running for Social Secretary because I want to bring fresh energy, new ideas, and create social events where everyone feels welcome – whether you drink or don’t, whether you’ve been here for years or just joined!

I will be at training sessions to encourage and promote new socials so that we can get better numbers to redeem our society's social status. I will also closely liaise with other societies to make sure we have fun interactive socials each week. Variety will be the foundation of my socials next year to make them different and more inclusive than last year's socials.

Finally, I’ll also make sure to get your input on what events you’d like to be able to join so that we can get better numbers and inclusivity.

I’m aiming to increase the numbers and engagement within our socials to help build our reputation, so that we are able to deliver joint socials with a wide range of other societies.
