I’m a relatively new member of the club but I am so grateful that I decided to join! I have loved every moment so far, especially meeting such an amazing group of people and I’m so excited for the next couple of years. I would love the role of vice president so that I can become a more active member of the club and help others have the same enjoyment I have had from kayaking. Especially as I'm only just finishing my first year at Uni, I would be so excited to have the opportunity to be vice president so that I can learn skills to have a greater impact on the club in years to come. I would always ensure that I am a friendly member and that I’m making a positive influence on all the other members. As someone who came into the club with not too much knowledge of kayaking, I have really loved learning different skills in the pool sessions and on white-water trips: having the opportunity to have the same impact on others next year would be amazing!
