Position Information
The Senior Recreational Captains is a dual role. Captains are responsible for the organisnation of 4 water sessions and 2 land training sessions every week as well as race planning and organisation. The Senior Intermediate Squad is often formed of 50-70 members all with varying levels of commitment and athletic ability. Captains are responsible for the every-day running of the squad, creating positive morale and a welcoming environment which is inclusive and motivating. The role requires great attention due to the dynamic and flexible approach of the squad and captains must ensure that all members are given the best opportunity to train to their desired standard whilst implementing the UOLBC constitutional rules.
