Senior Racing Captain

The role involves managing the senior racing squad and their training. We ensure the squad is a friendly and productive environment where athletes can get the most out of the training programme and improve as rowers. Day to day duties involve making sure everyone knows what training to do, when to do it and where they need to go. We keep in touch with the squad, making sure everyone is okay and that training and university life isn't getting the better of them. Overall we want our squad to perform the best it can and make sure everyone feels proud of themselves for the effort they put in.
