I’m Holly and currently in my first year studying Physics. The skills used in my degree include having a mathematical and logical mind, making me a good candidate for the role of treasurer. Before coming to Leeds, I rowed for my local boat club whilst also being a junior rep on the committee (2020-21), giving me experience in a committee role as well as allowing me to transfer successful ideas that worked there.

As treasurer I would build upon Alana’s successful work by keeping effective policies as well as introducing new ones to allow the boat club to prosper.

My aims are:

- To continue with the seat fee cap as it enables equal opportunities to all members of the boat club by making the luxury of racing more accessible.

- To effectively use funds to maintain and develop our fleet of boats. As the performance boats are up to date, this would include enhancing the rest of the fleet as well as planning for the next big spend.

- To work with the Alumni and Fundraising Secretary to unlock potential funding pathways.

- To be part of the senior committee members where I would like to amplify and educate on the amazing inclusivity of our boat club and elevate branding to attract sponsors, further improving the variety of funding routes.
