LeadLUU is the name of our annual Student Executive election – it’s one of the biggest student elections in the country, and is a pretty big deal in the Leeds campus calendar.

Our members are invited to run for one of six Student Executive roles which work together to lead the Union for a year. The Exec Officers act as trustees of LUU, help decide its direction as an organisation, and represent the voice of over 40,000 students in high-level decision making at the Union and University.

• Nominations Open: Monday 28th November
• Nominations Close: Friday 3rd February
• Candidate Briefings: 6th & 7th February – 17:30 til 19:00
• Training Weeks: Monday 6th to Sunday 19th February
• Campaigning Opens: 9am Monday 20th February
• Voting Period: 7am Monday 27th February to 7pm Thursday 2nd March
• Results Night: 7pm Friday 3rd March, LUU Stylus

Free Hot Drink T&Cs;
Free Hot Drink at Common Ground for all students who vote in Lead LUU. One voucher per student which will be delivered through the app after voting closes. Voucher is only available through LUU rewards. Student must be registered with LUU rewards and have entered their student ID number to receive the reward voucher. Voucher can only redeemed once and no cash alternative is available. Hot Drinks eligible are any drinks from the tea coffee or hot chocolate menu at Common Ground excluding speciality coffees. 25p charge for disposable cup if drink is taken as a take away in disposable cup. Voucher can only be redeemed in Common Ground.
