Outreach Officer
OUTREACH OFFICER
OPEN TO ALL MEMBERS
You will Liaise with 6th forms and secondary schools in Leeds with the aim of creating partnerships to deliver teaching events in schools. The role involves Producing information leaflets for the 6th forms and schools about what the society can offer them. Equally, you will work with the Leeds ‘societies into schools’ initiative to set up and facilitate outreach events for the 6th forms and schools that we form partnerships with to expose the students to life in medical school and a career within medicine and surgery. You are free to develop new initiatives, and will continue our newly established medical student mentorship program to encourage sixth formers into medicine. Furthermore, you will be required to help the committee as part of the publicity, outreach and specialities team.
