An events officer is the key organiser of all events (In our case hackathons, workshops and projects). They’ll need to organise rooms, times and guests to make sure the events run smoothly, and everyone has a good time. They will also assist with projects, such as the AR Museum project we have recently done with the University. For this role, you’ll need to be organised, outgoing and motivated. If you think you meet this criteria, its an amazing thing to talk about at interviews, and will give you valuable experience for when you enter the workplace.
