The events manager is in charge of organising online and in-person events within the society and is a non-core committee member. Only active members of the University of Leeds can nominate for this role.
The events manager's responsibilities are as follows:
- Organise all events in terms of dates, times and bookings.
- Announce all events clearly across social media.
- Organise online events like tournaments and charity livestreams via our Discord.
- Organise offline events like trips, Give It a Gos and socials.
- Reach out and collaborate with other societies as necessary for events.
- Work closely with our ambassadors in case they have any events they wish to organise.
