Hello!

I’ve been involved with LAMMPS dance since my first year at uni in 2019 (going into my fifth year with LAMMPS!) so I’m really committed to helping to make dance strand super inclusive, fun, and hopefully winning some awards during intercomp too!

My dance experience includes not just 5 years with dance strand, but also 10 years prior to that, alongside grade 5 IDTA tap qualifications.

I’ve been involved with choreography for LAMMPS throughout the past few years, including ‘This World Will Remember Us’ - a duet that won audience choice and placed third in 2022 intercomp, ‘Bad Idea’ from intercomp 2023, and ‘Revolting Children’ from the 23/24 dance showcase. I’ve also helped to workshop several other sections of dances in both dance strand and show. I love bouncing choreo ideas off of other people and workshopping dances together, so I know as dance assistant this could work really well working with the dance lead to help finalise choreo for both intercomp and showcase.

I’ve seen many iterations of dance strand during my time in LAMMPS and watched us make a name for ourselves as THE musical theatre dance society, and I want work with the dance lead and secretary to continue building that legacy and reputation. So vote for me please!! 3
