As a second-year Politics and Parliamentary Studies student, my commitment to advocating for gender equality and women's rights has been a driving force in my academic and personal journey. I believe that an inclusive environment for all members of the society is not just a goal but a necessity for creating a community that thrives on diversity and mutual respect.

Encouraging more women to join the society and actively engage with politics & the Labour Party is a central goal of my candidacy. To achieve this, I plan to organise a series of events that cater to the varied interests of our members. Furthermore, I want everyone to feel that their voice is listened to and heard as I am committed to helping every individual feel safe.

As a Kurdish woman, I recognise that every woman’s experience is different based on their sexuality, class, race, or background and I want all women and non-binary people to feel respected in the society.
