What an incredible year it has been. Firstly I’d like to thank this years committee for being quite simply brilliant. You guys have made this year impeccable and left big shoes to fill. I will save some key points and some small talk for the Library, however…

If there is one thing I have learnt so far, it is that this club truly loves three things- Socials, Carling and some of us would argue Cricket. This is the club with the best culture in the U.K, there is no disputing that. With such an immense and incredible culture, it’s important that someone is there to look out for everyone in all aspects of this club, offering an outgoing, friendly and caring personality (I hope I have shown that these are some of my key values).

As welfare I would offer this club a very present, friendly and approachable point of call for all of our members. I love nothing more than spending time and chatting to all of you and will continue to do so until the end of my inevitable panic masters. If appointed welfare, amongst other things I would love to take a leading role in pushing forward more sober socials (outside of Wednesdays) and would be extremely involved in looking out for the new group of freshers to be.

I would be honoured to be there for you lads. Come rain or shine I will be looking out for the wellbeing and safety of our members. I would love nothing more than to be heavily involved in supporting and getting tucked into Weetwood, The Fortress, Pop World and Mischief. To be your Welfare would simply be the greatest pleasure and a role I would take very seriously.

Hi lads,
After having a fantastic year being apart of this club and seeing the great work the committee has done this year it has made me want to get involved to help the club continue to develop. This club has made me feel welcomed and apart of a great community and I wish to help any new members of the club feel this next year.
I applied for this role as I believe I can be a friendly and approachable person for anyone that needs help during their time at this club, this is not just on a Wednesday but any day of the week I will be there for you all. For this role it is important to be able to talk to people and more importantly listen to any issues they might have and then work together to provide a solution for them that solves that issue.
As welfare I would continue with the great work Moses has done and focusing on the wellbeing of everyone in this club and introduce some more ideas of my own of how people can access any help or questions they need answering.
Overall, I would like to keep this club as the welcoming place it is and help others to experience all the fun and community spirit that this club has to offer. As your welfare it would be my pleasure be the friendly face around the club and be there for you,
