Now then lads,

The time has come for a man from Leeds to try and write an educated piece of writing after 10 months. Here we go!

It has been such an honour to have been part of our amazing club for the last 3 years. I have watched the club develop and go from strength to strength and this is no doubt down to the fantastic commitment of the many committee members, exec and of course all of you lovely people who have been a part of this fantastic club in this time and before.

It would be an absolute honour if I were to be given this role and were able to contribute to this club to keep it as we all know it to be, the best sport society in Leeds. This club has offered me as some of you know several of my greatest memories at Uni and ones which I will hold for the rest of my life. So, if you enable me to contribute back to the society in this role how I plan to next year, then I know that I can help to make next year as special for all of you as the past few years have been for me.

I have seen Whetton, Downer and Fletch all take on this role exceptionally considering the volumes that our club has ordered and the sometimes difficult scenarios which they have faced dealing with your kit orders. I can promise you all it will be crucial to myself that I continue to be able to provide you all with your UOLMCC stash for 24/25. Having spoken to them all over the years about what the role requires of an individual I believe that I 100% have the necessary skills and qualities for the role.

So here's why I believe I would be an excellent candidate for Kit Secretary:

I am a very patient man with a very large room next year (legend) so it is as though the stars have aligned for me to store your budgies and beanies until you are ready to collect (hopefully not for a whole semester). Whilst you all rollover in style in your new stash trying to impress your new CC – whoever that may be.

I am a trustworthy individual who will always ensure that tasks are carried out correctly, are checked and most importantly are done with the upmost care and responsibility. Currently I am working with the likes of Microsoft on multi-million pound orders so I am certain that I can be trusted with this role (but not with my job).

I would love to continue to provide you all with the stash that we currently offer, playing and training kit , casual wear, Oddball’s stash and of course our most prized possessions on a Wednesday but I would also be willing to hear what members would be interested in having more of, less of or any new pieces of kit which you think that the club will benefit from. If appointed I would be creating polls and a place for you to make anonymous suggestions for anything which you think that we could possibly add to our current kit selection, all this information would be collected prior to next year starting in September so we have the greatest time to look at our options to try and provide as much kit as possible.
