I’m excited to be throwing my hat in the ring for the role of Sponsorship and Fundraising Secretary for this incredible club!

My key aims this year would include:

Working collaboratively with the rest of the elected committee to ensure the continuation and elevation of fundraising events including the 24 hour run and UoLMCC x UoLWCC spin initiative

Connecting with local run clubs and/or local cafes; creating new sponsors whilst also creating a great opportunity for more sober socials.

I’d like to continue to build upon the relationships set in place by my predecessors. Yet, I also want to act as your voice, and will be happy to listen to any new ideas anyone might have.
I hope you’ll all consider my candidacy.

A man clueless to what WaW means.

The time has arrived, I am running for Sponsorship and fundraising sec.

I have a deep appreciation and love for this incredible club UoLMCC and a strong passion for charity work. Drawing inspiration from past events such as the likes of the 24hr run, I am eager to increase our fundraising efforts and expand our impact as a club. Recognising the importance of financial support for the greatest club in Leeds, I aim to find and secure additional sponsorship and funding opportunities from a range of companies varying from cricket to beer.
As well as this I look to continue the club’s relationship with current partnerships and sponsors.
I am committed to maximising opportunity for this club and to continue and further what has already been done.

The time has come, the avness has all been building up to this: Holy-rod is running for sponsorship sec.

During my time at uni, most of it has been spent in and around the club; with that has come some awareness of where the club may be lacking and could do with an injection of cash. When it comes to spending money it’s always better when it’s some else’s and in this case a generous sponsor.

To conclude, I’m not looking to reinvent the role but rather just to build upon Noah's work and hopefully help strengthen this great club.
