Hi, I'm Hamzah, I've been in this soc for a few years now. I'll keep things short. As a president I'd aim to keep open communication outside the committee, constantly consulting on different ideas etc. being open to suggestions and/or criticism, cater to popular demand where reasonable, and have things running smoothly in general. I've been helping run a youth club in my spare time for the last few years anyhow, so i reckon experience from that would help me run the soc well 👍. Also, free 🇵🇸

I'm Hamzah Hassan, a trustworthy and thorough candidate for President on the LCS Committee.
I'm currently doing Bsc Computer Science – one thing that is drilled in after 2 years is that management is important. You can’t just run at a problem head first (contrary to what the current government would have you believe).
The position of President is the most important role in the society and I don't apply to this position without fully understanding all the responsibilities that go along with it. With the refurbishment plans going through, it's important the society has somebody that’s able to deliver and deal with any arising issues.
I'll make sure that together with the rest of the committee, we negotiate the best possible deal for commuters in the society, so that anyone can feel relaxed after a hard day's work, and an even harder day dealing with commuting, wether that be being perpetually stuck on the M62, drenched in rain because the 8:30 train was delayed by half an hour, or that essential bus you need vanishing into thin air. I will make sure the society will be stable for all those who need it (for at least the next year).
