Hey, I’m Sophie and I’m running for Teams Training Organiser for 2025/26! I am studying Biology with a Year in Industry so will be heading into fourth year.

Some of you may not know me as I’m on placement this year, but super excited to join the society again from September and would love to be part of the committee. I was on C Team in second year and would regularly attend training sessions, driving other members there and back. I therefore understand how important it is to have trainings organised in advance with meeting points in place to ensure you make it to training on time! Hopefully I can try to find the best way to organise booking onto trainings and communicating amongst each other to make this as smooth as possible!

I am very organised and will communicate well with TLE as well as all team members to ensure training sessions run smoothly. I appreciate that some of you may not know me and understand you have moved yards since I was last there. However, I can’t wait to meet some new faces and will continue to keep the good relationship you have with TLE as well as work closely with the committee to keep LUUHRC going strong!

I am very approachable and easy to talk to, so any questions or queries I’ll always be happy to help. One of my main focuses is ensuring everyone gets equal opportunity to train and will aim to accommodate everyone. Really excited to meet some new faces and see TLE!
