Hi! I’m Ralph and I’m just finishing my second year here at Leeds. As your PhilSoc treasurer I would make sure everyone’s membership fee is spent wisely on fantastic socials, a great end of year ball, and of course lots of lovely wine and cheese! As I do a non philosophy-related degree (mechanical engineering) I want to use my position on the committee to show people from all backgrounds how great philosophy and this society can be, through collaborations with other societies and outreach (e.g. at the activities fair). I’ve been to so many great talks and events run by PhilSoc, and now I hope I will get the chance to give back!

Hi! My name’s Jemima Cattermole and I’m in second year studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics. I’m really passionate about the environment and love discussing the philosophy and ethics behind decisions people make. I’d be a great treasurer because I’m good with money and numbers - I’m studying economics, did a maths a level and have been a maths tutor for 5 years.
