General Committee x 2 (Two Positions)
Position Overview: General Committee Members are integral to the functioning of the University of Leeds Rifle Club. This position is particularly suited to first-year students, as it provides a unique opportunity for involvement in club management with an eye towards future leadership roles. These members play a versatile role, primarily supporting other committee members and contributing to various aspects of the club's activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting Roles: Assist specific committee members with their responsibilities, such as event organization, financial management, social media, and well-being initiatives.
- Event Assistance: Help in the planning, organizing, and execution of club events and activities.
- Member Engagement: Engage with club members, gathering feedback and ideas to improve the club experience.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties as needed, such as record keeping, correspondence, and meeting organization.
- Learning and Development: Actively learn from other committee members to gain a comprehensive understanding of different roles and responsibilities within the club.
Time Commitment: The role of a General Committee Member requires a moderate time commitment, which includes attending regular committee meetings, assisting with specific tasks or events, and being available to support other committee members as needed.
