Raising money for charity is scientifically proven to alleviate any self-pity felt when waking up on a Thursday morning after mischief. So, in the form of a joint social, race night or other devious way to raise some cash, fundraising at socials will give all club members a chance to contribute to important charity work, whilst having a good time.

I cannot guarantee a 5-year Nike deal, but I'll also be committed to finding a good sponsor which offers good perks to the club and it's members (and a nice kit logo). I have attached a presentation to show a few of the extras I'll aim to achieve from a potential sponsor.

First and foremost the most important thing to sort out is quickly the main sponsor for next year. Renewing our relationship with Raj as well as possibly adding a couple more local business as sponsors will be an important first step in ensuring the club has as much cash coming in to fund all the chaotic activities you all love participating in. I’d also like to incorporate a few more charity social events into our calendar for the year after the success of the charity social this year in aid of MIND. Continuing to participate in movember, etc will also continue to grow the clubs image in a greatly positive way. I also believe that trying to incorporate local cricket clubs in a charity 6 a side tournament would be a great way to not only raise significant cash for our chosen charities but also improve our relationships with local clubs potentially giving us a wider variety of grounds available in summer time for us to play our games at.
