As the club treasurer I intend to make sure that there are sufficient funds in the clubs account, as well as spending the clubs funds in a responsible manor to benefit all members of the society. Being heavily involved in the club as well as being an player I have a good understanding of where expenses should be prioritised. I believe that I will be a successful treasurer because I will communicate well with other committee members to ensure that the the clubs funds are spent on essentials such as net hire, training equipment, fuel costs and to subsidise important club events. I will also communicate with the committee members to ensure that there is an adequate income for the club. Being a student I have been well organised with my student loan which gives me the confidence to be able to responsibly handle the clubs funds if I were to take on the role as treasurer.

Hello gents.
The cricket club has been the cornerstone of my university. Having been here for three years, spending two on comititee I have got to know all aspects of the club. The club, I think, is on the correct trajectory thanks to the fantastic work done this year by the current exec. I think my experience in the club makes me ready to take on this role, and hopefully help lead this great club forwards.
Having had a hand in arranging sponsorship this year and a good relationship with them I think would be beneficial to the incoming comitee for the coming year aswell as giving me an insight to the financial running of the club.
On a personal level, the chance to give back more to the club would be very rewarding, and I look forward whether sucessful or not to introducing a new year of freshers to what is, wihtout doubt, the greatest club in Leeds.
