"As social sec my job is all the non-philosophy stuff of philsoc! I organise club nights, pub trips, bowling, the infamous pub quiz and (the biggie) the ball. It’s mainly brainstorming fun ideas and emailing the people that need emailing to arrange them. I have absolutely adored my role this year and I can’t tell you how fulfilling it is to see everyone making friends at events you’ve organised.
