Hello! I'm Issy, I play clarinet in JABS and I am running for social sec! If you haven’t met me before I am always in the pub after rehearsals. I have really enjoyed the social events this year, but I would like to introduce some more varied social activities:



- Boogaloo is a lot of fun, but there are other nights out that JABS members would also enjoy such as Domino club, junkyard golf, or a karaoke night. Boogaloo is also quite expensive so we could do cheaper activities like house parties instead, which I would be more than happy to host.

- More social events during freshers to make new first years feel more welcome.

- More social events that don't have to include alcohol e.g. booking the lounge room in the pack horse and having a jazz-related film night once a term, or a murder mystery.


I want to give everyone in JABS a voice in what social activities they want to do, and I would regularly send members polls on what social activity they would like to do the most.



I would consider myself quite a sociable and outgoing person. I always have people around at my house and I love to host, which makes me believe that I can organise well-run, and fun social events that everyone can enjoy.
