5.4.7 Welfare Representative(s)

.          The Welfare Representative is responsible for ensuring all committee members and volunteers for the society feel comfortable in their roles.

.           The Welfare Representative is responsible for maintaining an anonymous line of communication between society members and members of the relevant production team/committee.

. The Welfare Representative should ensure they have undergone appropriate training as advised by LUU.

. The Welfare Representative should not provide direct welfare support, rather signpost appropriate resources as needed to all members.

. The Welfare Representative cannot be a core member of a production team (Director, Producer, Musical Director) whilst holding the position.

. In order to stand for the position of Welfare Representative, candidates must be approved directly by the core officers of the society (President, Secretary, Treasurer).

. The society may have up to two Welfare Representatives each voted in individually at the society AGM.
