HEY POOKIES my name is Evie and I’m a first year Economics and Politics student running to be your next publicity officer! As a silly fresher I was completely overwhelmed for choice when looking at which societies to join, and for me it was the fun, friendly and welcoming vibe of the OT social media that lured me in. I intend on boosting this fun freshness next year to increase engagement and memberships to ensure we have the funding and numbers for an amazing OT year filled with socials and increased opportunities! I may not be a tech genius, but I’m an Instagram reels FIEND who appears to be perfectly happy wasting my entire life on social media anyway, so the OT insta will be in PERFECT hands with me.
On an unironically open note, I really want to give back to this society as the two plays I was involved in absolutely made my first year. I adore this community, its creativity and the unique opportunities it brings and can think of nothing else I’d rather put my time and effort into.

I have loved being a part of OT this year in LPDM and Roses and Ravens, and think this society has so much to offer - I would lurv to be part of the team that brings this all together. As your publicity rep I would ensure the welcoming environment that OT holds is maintained, and that everyone is connected regardless of social media use / whether people already know people to guarantee that everyone is involved no matter what! I have run social media campaigns and company accounts in the past, so am quite qualified, and coming from Biology, I know the importance of staying connected and bringing everyone who loves theatre into the group.
