I’m Ben and I’m currently a 1st year philosophy student who loves sharing music, as well as hearing new stuff. I’m very excited to be running for Vice President of Album Review Society as I’ve enjoyed attending socials this year and would love to play a role in how things are run.
As Vice President I hope to help expand the society with more socials and collaborations. I will encourage people to discover new music within the friendly, relaxed atmosphere of album review, whilst also taking on feedback and bringing members’ comments to the committee.
With previous experience in leadership and planning, I look forward to taking on responsibilities such as: organising, hosting, and helping out society members as well as fellow committee members.

Hey! I'm Mia and I'm going into my second year of Film Studies at Leeds.
I would absolutely love to be your vice president for the next academic year as I feel I have a lot to contribute to this amazing society.
I have a few ideas that I would love to implement if I’m chosen for VP…
- Collabs with the Film Society, holding screenings of music related films and discussing film soundtracks
- Merch!!! T-shirts, tote bags, you name it. We can also hold a completion for society members to design it
- Listening parties for new album releases
- Curated playlists for the chosen albums, think ‘further listening’ to learn more about similar music
- Music-themed pub quizzes!!!
I truly love everything music-related and, as vice president, I hope to share this passion with like-minded people, whilst helping the president and other committee members to maintain a safe, fun, and successful society.
