My name is Sanjay Singh Sekhon and I'm a first year Economics and Finance student. I'm thrilled to announce my candidacy for the position of Secretary for LeedsEconSoc.

I am committed to bringing forth a vision that fosters inclusivity, innovation, and excellence within our society. Thus, I aim to ensure that our society brings as much added value as possible to you, its members.

For the upcoming tenure, my main aims will be:

- Streamlining administrative processes as much as possible to improve efficiency
- Exploring new collaborations with other societies and external corporations to widen the society's network to organise joint events
- Implementing a calendar system to allow for members to be aware of upcoming talks/workshops
- Creating channels for members to provide feedback on society socials and events
- Arranging for potential office visits and networking opportunities with employers

As your Secretary, my goal would be to ensure that this society enhances your economic knowledge while providing you with the tools for enhancing your employability.

In this role, I am committed to efficient administrative oversight, ensuring seamless operations in room bookings, membership processing, and event coordination. My attention to detail and organisational skills will be instrumental in maintaining accurate records and documentation to support the society's transparency and accountability.
