Please ensure the roles of president, secretary and treasurer already have nomination prior to nominating yourself for this role.
Event secretaries are responsible for organizing socials and external trips.  You don't have to be a student to run for this role.  Detailed responsibilities of this role include:

• Ensure completion of required paperwork prior to events and trips.
• Contact and negotiate with venues and bands.
• Organize and manage dance and non-dance related socials, along with external trips.
• Promote upcoming events, both online and through in-person engagements.
• Assist the core committee in organizing annual event SwingRevolution.
