Ask for Angela is a scheme for anyone who feels uncomfortable or unsafe when out in the city centre at anytime of day or night. 

Anyone can go into various places throughout the city centre and say to a staff member the codeword "Angela" to signal that they are in an uncomfortable situation and would like assistance. 

Staff at participating venues have been trained to help, they won't judge and will aim to get you out of the situation without too much fuss.
