Community Gardening Event
Join us for a day of community gardening as we complete the final phase of our forest garden project at Brudenell Primary School.
The concept of a forest garden is informed by permaculture as it focuses on creating a sustainable and self-sufficient ecosystem, like a forest, but on a small scale. As well as providing an educational resource for the school, the garden will provide edible fruits and vegetables. On the day, volunteers will get stuck in with soil prepping, weeding and planting shrubs and plants which will complete the forest garden.
No gardening experience is required, only enthusiasm! Gloves and tools (and lunch!) are provided. Volunteers are required to wear appropriate footwear and clothing (trainers/boots and waterproof jackets recommended).
Complete the sign-up form below. Spaces are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Event will be postponed in the event of extreme weather but a bit of rain and chill won't stop us!
