Join us for our Easter Trip to Caseg Fraith in Eryri (Snowdonia)!

We will meet in front of the School of English on the morning of Wednesday 22nd April, where we will split up into cars and vans to drive to Eryri (Snowdonia). We will be stopping for a hike on the way, so you will need to have a day bag prepared. Transport, accommodation, breakfast and an evening meal (except the night you arrive on and leave the trip) are included in your ticket. We will be staying at the Caseg Fraith Hut (https://caseg.ulgmc.org/), and there is no phone signal at the accommodation. We will all be staying at the hut for 4 nights, and returning to Leeds on Sunday 26th April. 

Each day, we will split into groups and go on routes of varying length, elevation and technicality. The north section of Eryri/Snowdonia is home to some fantastic mountain groups, such as the Glyderau and Carneddau, which themselves host some amazing wildlife like the Carneddau Ponies!

We want to make trips as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, some equipment is required. A kit list can be found here https://luuhc.com/gear/weekend-trips. Please follow it! Need some inspiration for what food to pack? The club does have limited gear that members can borrow - if you’d like to borrow gear for this trip please email our Gear Secretary, Celeste, through luuhc.gear@gmail.com.

If you can no longer make it to the hike, please contact our Club Secretary, Florence, through luuhc.secretary@gmail.com as soon as possible. If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund.
