Torside Sunday Hike
We will meet by 08:15 at the Parkinson Steps to take the coach to Torside in the Peak District. This Derbyshire reservoir lies just north of the infamous B29 Bomber crash site, a U.S. Air Force plan that crashed on the Bleaklow Hill in 1948 after loosing visibility.
The coach will aim to depart Torside at 16:30.
As with all Sunday Hikes, we will split into 4 or 5 groups each with two volunteer leaders.
We want to make Sunday Hikes as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, you must have the following: walking boots with ankle support, a rucksack, waterproofs, appropriate layers, sufficient water (1 litre plus), and sufficient food.
