Join us for the first winter trip of the year, as we head to Kincraig in the Cairngorms. Expect epic Scottish hill days and spectacular vibes as well as perfect snow conditions and blue skies! (weather permitting, club not responsible) 

We will meet late afternoon on Thursday 13th February at the School of English, where we travel by cars and vans to the Cairngorms. Transport, accommodation, breakfast and evening meals (except the night you arrive and leave the trip) are included in your ticket. We are staying in the Kincraig Community Hall, details of which can be found here https://www.kincraigcommunityhall.co.uk/ (Fancy, I know!)

This is one of our famous Winter trips so you must have previously been on at least one LUUHC weekend trip, attended one of our winter briefings last term and have B2 boots (plus some more winter-specific kit, see https://luuhc.com/gear-lists#winter). Once buying a ticket you will be asked to attend a crampon fitting session prior to the trip. 

For those of you who have busy lives and nab yourself a 2-day ticket, you will be expected to drop your bag with us on Thursday afternoon (as there is no space in the vehicles you will be travelling in), you will then travel to the Cairngorms on Friday afternoon and return to Leeds Sunday evening. 

For those lucky enough to have loads of free time (I'm looking at you undergrads) and choosing to go for the 3-day option you will be expected to meet us on Thursday afternoon (prompt) to travel to the Cairngorms. We will then return to Leeds on Sunday evening.

If you can no longer make it to the trip, please contact our Club Secretary, Alice, through luuhc.secretary@gmail.com as soon as possible. If we can find someone to replace you from the waiting list, you’ll get a full refund. If not, unfortunately we will not be able to issue a refund. Sorry, you can’t swap tickets.
