Join us for a wonderful trip to the Brecon Beacons!

We will meet by 5pm in front of the School of English on Friday 20th November, where we will split up into cars and vans to drive down to South Wales. Transport, accommodation, breakfast and evening meals (except the night you arrive on and leave the trip) are included in your ticket. We will be staying at the Llangynidr village hall (https://www.llangynidrvillagehall.co.uk/), and there will be limited phone signal at the accommodation.

Each day, we will split into groups and go on routes of varying length, elevation and technicality. We will all be leaving together from Leeds on Friday 20th and will be back in Leeds on the evening of Sunday 22nd.

We want to make Weekend Trips as easy as possible for you, but due to safety, some equipment is required. A kit list can be found here https://luuhc.com/gear/weekend-trips. Please follow it! Need some inspiration for what food to pack? See the ‘Getting Outside’ FAQ section of our website at https://luuhc.com/faq#Getting-outside. For this trip you will need a sleeping bag and a roll mat. The club does have limited gear that members can borrow - if you’d like to borrow gear for this trip please email our Gear Secretary through luuhc.gear@gmail.com.

Before the trip, you will receive an email with more up-to-date details.
