Enjoying a perfect afternoon tea party has been a fine British tradition since the early 19th century when Anna, the seventh Duchess of Bedford, first introduced it after complaining of ‘having that sinking feeling’ during the late afternoon. Free Tea and scones provided, what a wonderful opportunity to taste the great British Tea culture! No matter you are international students excited for the new journey in Leeds or UK students seeking fun space to make new friends, we always have a space for you. Just drop in LUU Riley Smith Theatre, sip some tea, and make new friends to start your journey for the new academic year!

We have 2 separate sessions: 

1st Session: 12:00-14:00

2ns Session: 15:00-16:30
