This is the first day trip of the year and the first ever LUUMC joint club trip! This trip will be a meet so it will be your responsibility to get yourself there and back, and providing your own food. There will also be NO official committee teaching on this meet. The club will still be providing gear but please let us know at least 4 days beforehand so we can get it for you.

For this meet we will be going to Stanage Edge in the Peak District, one of the most famous trad climbing venues in the UK! There is also a selection of brilliant boulders to try. To get there by train you can catch a train from Leeds train station to Sheffield train station, and then change for Hathersage. With a rail card, this journey will cost between £10-£20. To get to Stanage it is then approximately a 40 minute walk from the station. If you are driving, feel free to share spare seats in the active climbers group chat - this can help share out the fuel cost!

If the weather turns bad during the day, we could either go for a walk or for a drink at the pub!
