Join this friendly guided walk with Res Life and Get Out, Get Active exploring the village of Flamborough, Bridlington, with beautiful views including the rugged Yorkshire coastline and iconic lighthouse.

Famous for its beautiful lighthouse, sheer cliffs and diverse wildlife, Flamborough Head is arguably the most wild and beautiful of our coastal walks. Our GOGA long and short walks take you along the white cliffs with panoramic views across the hidden bays and ample wildlife spotting opportunities with puffins, seals and dolphins being regular visitors to the area.

There will be free time after the walk either to enjoy time in the village of Flamborough or the cafes and sights at Flamborough Lighthouse.

Pick up and drop-off will be from Parkinson Steps, in front of the Parkinson Building.

We would like to emphasise the need for suitable footwear, especially as it can be very muddy in the winter months, and a waterproof jacket. Please bring a packed lunch as we will be stopping for lunch during the walk.

What you need to bring:

Please come in suitable footwear for uneven and unpaved terrain (walking boots or strong trainers). You will also need

- Spare footwear to change into after the walk and a bag for your muddy boots or shoes
- Waterproof jacket and warm clothes
- Food/Packed Lunch and a water bottle for during the walk
- Money/Card if you wish to purchase items in the town
